242 Blue Threadlocker is medium strength for oil pan bolts, case cover bolts, shifter lever nuts, alternator mounts, intake manifolds, valve covers and disc brake caliper bolts. Threadlocker fills the space between threaded metal parts, curing to form a tough, adhesive bond and seal. Is also seals threads against leakage, preventing rust and corrosion.
