Solid state relay is 6 volt, three terminal style with a smooth chrome cover. It replaces original style mechanical relay. Relay allows the use of charge indicating lamp on all 3-brush applications and is full function as a mechanical relay. The dash light will work.

Relay end with single terminal is the armature connection. Battery connection is the lower terminal on the opposite end. Charge lamp is the upper terminal.
