Chrome axle nut cap set for 1973-1980 FX is for both axle nut and axle head. Each set includes one cap with internal hex to secure to axle nut. Caps are machined to allow more thickness to prevent set screw thread from stripping.

FX Super Glide® 1973-1980

These axle caps will not work on late model rear axles with cotter key locking devices.
