Gas tank accepts 1975-up petcock with nut, and has a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. Includes mounting stud on the left side tank. Tank accepts stock dash and speedometer and accepts a bayonet type cap. Order cap set separately. Carefully check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. All tanks or sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed, to achieve correct height.
