Gas tank is a two piece set, and has a fuel capacity of 5.0 gallons. Tank set features provisions to accept two vented early caps, reserve shut off rod, and two or three light dash. This set requires use of gas line fittings, and includes shifter handle. Order shift gate and mounting hardware separately as needed. Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut off assembly. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. it is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check shut off opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve.
